Jeffrey Vandersay

Overview

Jeffrey Dexter Francis Vandersay (born 5 February 1990) is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer. He represents the Sri Lanka national side in limited overs cricket, having featured in the country's white-ball set-up over the course of his career.

Vandersay received his schooling at Wesley College, Colombo, where he counts among the institution's cricketing alumni. He went on to take up the game professionally, progressing through domestic cricket before earning international recognition with Sri Lanka.

His international career has been described as stop-start in nature. A combination of factors, including patches of poor form, irregular selection, disciplinary issues and inconsistency with the ball, has meant that his appearances at the highest level have come in phases rather than as part of a settled run in the side.
