Jeet Ashok Raval (born 22 September 1988) is a New Zealand cricketer who plays as an opening batsman. Originally from Ahmedabad in India, he has represented New Zealand at the international level and turned out for Northern Districts in domestic cricket.
Raval's pathway through New Zealand cricket began with appearances for the country's under-19 team. He went on to spend eight years in first-class cricket as an opening batsman with Auckland and Central Districts, building a reputation as a patient top-order player before earning a higher honour.
He was selected to play Test cricket for New Zealand for the first time in 2016. The early part of his Test career was marked by a struggle for consistent form. Although he reached the half-century mark on multiple occasions, a maiden Test hundred eluded him for an extended period. It was only in his 17th Test match, and after seven half-centuries, that he registered his first century, which came against Bangladesh.
Across his domestic and international career, Raval has been associated primarily with the opening role, providing top-order options for the sides he has represented in New Zealand.
