Jatin–Lalit is an Indian music director duo consisting of brothers Jatin Pandit and Lalit Pandit. Active primarily through the 1990s and early 2000s, the duo composed soundtracks for several commercially and critically successful Hindi films, becoming one of the most prominent music composing teams in Bollywood during that era. They are particularly associated with romantic and youth-oriented films of the 1990s.

Jatin and Lalit Pandit were born into a family with strong musical roots. Their father, Pratap Narayan Pandit, and uncle, Pandit Jasraj, were associated with Hindustani classical music traditions. Their sisters, Sulakshana Pandit and Vijayta Pandit, were established singers and actresses in the Hindi film industry. Growing up in this environment, both brothers received early training in classical music and developed an interest in film composition.
The duo began their composing career in the late 1980s with smaller projects before gaining wider recognition. Their breakthrough came with Yaara Dildara (1991), whose title track became popular among listeners.
