JSW MG Motor India is an Indian automotive company engaged in the manufacture and sale of passenger vehicles under the MG (Morris Garages) brand. The company succeeded the earlier wholly SAIC-owned MG Motor India, following the entry of JSW Group as a majority Indian partner.

The MG brand entered India through MG Motor India, a subsidiary set up by SAIC Motor. The company acquired the former General Motors India facility at Halol in Gujarat, refurbished it, and commenced local assembly of MG-branded passenger vehicles. Operations from this plant began in the late 2010s, with the brand positioned in the SUV and electric vehicle segments of the Indian market.
JSW Group, the diversified Indian conglomerate led by Sajjan Jindal, partnered with SAIC Motor to restructure the Indian operations into a joint venture. Under the arrangement, the Indian side took a majority stake while SAIC retained a significant minority interest, leading to the rebranding of the entity as JSW MG Motor India.
The company's manufacturing base is located at Halol in the Panchmahal district of Gujarat. Its product portfolio in India has included internal combustion engine SUVs as well as battery electric vehicles. Models marketed under the MG brand in India have included the Hector, Hector Plus, Astor, Gloster, ZS EV, Comet EV and the Windsor EV. Sales and after-sales services are handled through a dealer network spread across major Indian cities.
JSW MG Motor India is among the few foreign-origin automakers operating in India through a structured joint venture with a major domestic industrial group. The partnership is significant in the context of evolving Indian regulations on investment from neighbouring countries, and reflects a model in which technology and brand inputs from a global automaker are combined with Indian capital, manufacturing and distribution networks. The company is also one of the active participants in the Indian electric passenger vehicle segment.
