The Institute of Management Studies (IM-BHU) is the management school of Banaras Hindu University, a central university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. Banaras Hindu University was founded in 1916 by Madan Mohan Malaviya and is one of the largest residential universities in Asia. The Institute of Management Studies functions within this university framework, providing formal management education alongside the university's faculties of arts, science, commerce, engineering, medicine and other disciplines.
