The Indian Institute of Petroleum and Energy (IIPE) is an Institute of National Importance located at Vangali, Sabbavaram Mandal, in the Anakapalli District of Andhra Pradesh. It is a domain-specific institution established by the Government of India under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG).
IIPE has been set up at par with the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), with a focus on education and research in fields related to petroleum and energy.
