Manipur was admitted as a full member of the BCCI following the implementation of recommendations from the Lodha Committee, which directed the Indian board to grant first-class status to all states of the Indian Union. As a result, the Manipur senior men's team began participating in BCCI national tournaments from the 2018–19 season, providing an organised pathway for cricketers from the state, including Kabrambam, to play at the national domestic level.
Kabrambam has featured for Manipur in BCCI domestic competitions, which include the Ranji Trophy (first-class), the Vijay Hazare Trophy (List A), and the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (Twenty20). Manipur, alongside other newly inducted northeastern teams, competes in the Plate Group of the Ranji Trophy.
Players such as Kabrambam form part of the first generation of Manipuri cricketers to compete at the recognised national domestic level, contributing to the development of organised cricket in the North East region of India.
