Himachal Pradesh Technical University, commonly known as HIMTU or HPTU, is a state university located in Hamirpur in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It was established in 2011 to coordinate and oversee technical education in the state.
The university was set up by the Government of Himachal Pradesh as a dedicated institution for technical and professional education. Its headquarters are situated in Hamirpur, one of the district headquarters of Himachal Pradesh.
