Hanuman Beniwal (born 2 March 1972) is an Indian politician and the founder and national convener of the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP). He has served as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha from the Nagaur constituency since 2019. The RLP is regarded as a third political party in Rajasthan alongside the Indian National Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Beniwal began his public life during his student years, serving as the president of the Rajasthan University Students' Union. He entered electoral politics in Rajasthan with the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2008 and has been elected to the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly for four terms from the Khinvsar constituency. He subsequently parted ways with the BJP and founded the Rashtriya Loktantrik Party.
Identified with agrarian rights advocacy, Beniwal resigned from parliamentary committees and from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in opposition to the 2020 Indian agriculture acts. He has also led protests on a range of public issues, including matters relating to the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) and paper leaks, illegal sand mining in the state, and the central government's Agnipath military recruitment scheme.
