Hamilton Masakadza (born 9 August 1983) is a Zimbabwean former cricketer who represented Zimbabwe across all three formats of the game. A right-handed batsman, he also bowled occasional right-arm medium pace. He captained the national side during the 2016 ICC World T20, but was relieved of the captaincy after Zimbabwe failed to progress beyond the qualifying round. In February 2019, Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed that he would lead the team across all three formats for the 2019–20 season.
Masakadza's family has strong cricketing ties, with his brothers Shingirai Masakadza and Wellington Masakadza also having played for Zimbabwe. All three have featured domestically for the Mountaineers. Among his notable achievements, he became the first player to score multiple 150-plus scores in a single series or tournament, a feat he accomplished against Kenya in 2009. During Zimbabwe's tour of South Africa in October 2018, he became the fourth cricketer from Zimbabwe to appear in 200 One Day International matches.
In September 2019, Masakadza announced that he would retire from international cricket at the conclusion of the 2019–20 Bangladesh Tri-Nation Series. He played his final international match for Zimbabwe on 20 September 2019, against Afghanistan. Following his retirement as a player, he was appointed as Zimbabwe Cricket's director of cricket in October 2019.
