Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) is a state public university located in Gandhinagar, the capital of the Indian state of Gujarat. It is one of the National Law Universities (NLUs) established in India to impart specialised legal education and promote research in law and allied disciplines.

GNLU was established by the Government of Gujarat under the Gujarat National Law University Act. The university forms part of the wider network of National Law Universities in India, a model of autonomous law schools that began with the founding of the National Law School of India University in Bangalore. These institutions were created to address the perceived need for dedicated, research-oriented institutions for legal studies in India.
