Admission to the MBBS programme in Indian government medical colleges is conducted through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG), with seat allotment carried out through state and all-India counselling processes.
Udhampur is situated in the Shivalik foothills of Jammu and Kashmir and lies on the National Highway connecting Jammu with Srinagar.
