Dronagiri is a planned node of South Navi Mumbai, situated in the Raigad district of Maharashtra. Developed as part of the larger Navi Mumbai region, the node lies to the east of Uran town and is bounded by the Karanja creek on its south-eastern side.
The node is bordered by the residential areas of Karanja, Chanje and Navin Sheva to the west, and Kaladhonda and Bokadvira to the north-west. The Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT) area and township lie to the north of Dronagiri. Among the nodes of Navi Mumbai, Dronagiri is located farthest from the central business districts of Belapur, Nerul and Vashi.
Connectivity to the node is provided by Dronagiri railway station on the Port line, which offers suburban rail access. Road links connect Dronagiri to Uran, JNPT, and other parts of Navi Mumbai and Mumbai. Owing to its adjacency to the Jawaharlal Nehru Port, the node is regarded as well suited for port-based industrial activity.
