Yagnik came through the Rajasthan domestic system and established himself as a wicketkeeping option for the state side. As a wicketkeeper-batsman, his role typically combined dismissals behind the stumps with contributions in the lower-middle order. He featured for Rajasthan in the Ranji Trophy, the premier first-class competition in India, as well as in the limited-overs domestic tournaments conducted by the BCCI.
Beyond playing duties, Yagnik has also been associated with coaching roles in the Indian Premier League (IPL) ecosystem, working as a fielding coach with the Rajasthan Royals franchise, which is based in Jaipur.
Yagnik is part of a generation of Rajasthan cricketers who emerged in the period during which the state team won its maiden Ranji Trophy titles. His subsequent transition into a coaching role within the IPL reflects a common career pathway for experienced domestic wicketkeepers, who often move into specialist support-staff positions.
