Dilip Dattatray Walse Patil (born 30 October 1956) is an Indian politician from Ambegaon in Maharashtra. He has been associated with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and has been elected to the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly eight times.
Walse Patil has held several Cabinet portfolios in the Government of Maharashtra. Between 1999 and 2009, he served as a Cabinet Minister handling Finance and Planning, Energy, Higher and Technical Education, and Medical Education. He also served as the Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.
On 5 April 2021, he was appointed Home Minister of Maharashtra, succeeding Anil Deshmukh, who had resigned. Since July 2023, he has continued to serve as a minister in the Government of Maharashtra.
In addition to his legislative and ministerial roles, Walse Patil serves as the President of the National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories Limited (NFCSF), an apex body of cooperative sugar factories in India.
