Dawid Johannes Malan Jnr (born 3 September 1987) is an English cricketer who represented England in all three international formats between 2017 and his retirement from international cricket in 2024. A left-handed top-order batter and occasional leg break bowler, Malan has played first-class cricket in England for Middlesex and Yorkshire, and has featured in several Twenty20 leagues across the world, including the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Punjab Kings.

International career

Malan made his Test and Twenty20 International (T20I) debuts for England in 2017, and added his One Day International (ODI) debut in 2019, thus completing appearances in all three formats. He continued to play for England across formats until announcing his retirement from international cricket in 2024.

Malan is one of only four batsmen from England to have scored a T20I century. In 2020, his rating in the ICC Men's T20I Player Rankings reached 915, which set a record in the format at the time.
