David Lloyd Hemp (born 8 November 1970) is a Bermudian cricket coach and former cricketer. A left-handed batsman and right-arm medium-pace bowler, he had a long career in domestic cricket before transitioning into coaching roles.
At the domestic level, Hemp represented Glamorgan and Warwickshire in English county cricket, and also turned out for Free State in South African domestic cricket. In addition to first-class matches, he featured in List A and Twenty20 cricket during his playing career.
Hemp was educated at Millfield School, an institution noted for its sporting tradition. His younger brother, Tim Hemp, played for Glamorgan's second eleven and represented Wales Minor Counties in the NatWest Trophy.
After retiring as a player, Hemp moved into coaching. He has served as the batting coach of the Bangladesh cricket team.
