Crescent Air Cargo was an Indian air cargo carrier based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The airline operated freight services within India and is now defunct. It was among the smaller dedicated cargo operators that emerged in southern India during the late 1990s, a period in which the Indian civil aviation sector was gradually opening up to private participation.

The liberalisation of Indian aviation through the 1990s allowed several private operators to enter scheduled and non-scheduled segments, including dedicated freight services. Cargo-only carriers such as Crescent Air Cargo sought to address demand for domestic feeder freight, particularly between metropolitan hubs and regional centres, supplementing the belly-hold capacity available on passenger flights.
Crescent Air Cargo operated as a domestic freight carrier with its base in Chennai, then a major southern Indian air freight gateway. The airline focused on intra-India cargo movement rather than scheduled passenger services.
Although a small operator, Crescent Air Cargo formed part of the early generation of Indian private cargo airlines. Its history reflects the volatility faced by independent freight carriers in India, where high operating costs, fuel pricing, and competition from passenger airlines' belly-hold capacity have historically made standalone cargo operations difficult to sustain.
