Chandrakant Bacchu Patil is an Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He serves as the Minister for Higher and Technical Education in the Government of Maharashtra. He is a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, representing the Kothrud Assembly constituency.
Patil served as the President of the Maharashtra state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party from 2019 to 2022. In this capacity, he led the party's organisational activities across the state during a significant period in Maharashtra's political landscape.
Earlier in his political career, Patil held the portfolios of Revenue and Public Works in the Government of Maharashtra. He also served as the Guardian Minister for Kolhapur district, Sangli district and Pune district, a role in which he oversaw the coordination of state government activities at the district level. He held these responsibilities until 12 November 2019.
