Central University of Rajasthan (CU-R or CURAJ) is a central public university located in Rajasthan, India. It was established by an Act of Parliament and functions under the purview of the Department of Higher Education in the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The university holds an NAAC A++ grade, which is the highest level of accreditation in India. This places CURAJ among the top-tier higher education institutions categorised as UGC Category I nationally.
CURAJ comprises 12 schools and 36 academic departments, along with one community college. It offers doctoral, postgraduate and undergraduate programmes across a wide range of disciplines, including technology, science, humanities, commerce, management, public policy and the social sciences.
