Brendon Barrie McCullum (born 27 September 1981) is a New Zealand cricket coach and former international cricketer who currently serves as the head coach of the England men's cricket team across all formats. A former captain of New Zealand in all three international formats, McCullum is regarded as one of the country's most successful batsmen and is widely known for his aggressive, fast-scoring style of batting.

McCullum represented New Zealand at the highest level for over a decade and went on to captain the side in Tests, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals. His brother, Nathan McCullum, also played international cricket for New Zealand and announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in 2015.
McCullum captained New Zealand to the finals of the 2015 Cricket World Cup and the 2009 ICC Champions Trophy. He was renowned for his quick scoring across formats, and built a reputation as one of the most attacking batsmen of his era.
Following his retirement as a player, McCullum transitioned into coaching. He is the head coach of the England men's cricket team in all formats, leading the side across Tests, ODIs and T20Is.
McCullum's career marked a shift in New Zealand cricket towards an aggressive, attacking template, both as a batsman and as captain. His record-setting innings in Test and T20I cricket, combined with his leadership in major ICC tournaments, established him as a transformative figure in the country's cricketing history. His induction into the New Zealand Cricket Hall of Fame recognises this legacy.
