Bengaluru East railway station (station code: BNCE) is a railway station located in the city of Bengaluru in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is one of the smaller railway stations within the Bengaluru urban area and forms part of the suburban rail network operated by the South Western Railway zone of Indian Railways.

The station lies in the eastern part of Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. It is situated between Bengaluru Cantonment railway station and Baiyappanahalli, on the railway corridor that connects central Bengaluru with the eastern suburbs of the city. Its position makes it accessible to localities in east Bengaluru, including areas around Ulsoor and adjoining residential neighbourhoods.
Bengaluru East functions primarily as a halt for passenger and suburban services rather than as a major terminating station. Long-distance express trains generally bypass the station in favour of the larger terminals at KSR Bengaluru City Junction, Bengaluru Cantonment, Yesvantpur Junction and Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal.
The station is administered under the Bangalore Division of the South Western Railway zone, which was carved out of earlier zones during the reorganisation of Indian Railways in 2003. Day-to-day operations, ticketing and maintenance fall under the same divisional administration that manages the wider Bengaluru railway network.
Although modest in size compared with the principal junctions of the city, Bengaluru East serves as a useful access point on the suburban corridor and contributes to easing passenger movement in central and eastern Bengaluru. It also features in plans for the development of the Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project, which aims to enhance commuter connectivity across the metropolitan region.
