Duckett is an English cricketer who has built his career as a specialist batsman in the top order. He is associated with Nottinghamshire on the domestic county circuit and features for the Trent Rockets, the Nottingham-based franchise in The Hundred.
Duckett plays for England across all three international formats — Test cricket, One Day Internationals and Twenty20 Internationals — typically batting at the top of the order. At the domestic level, his cricket is divided between red-ball and white-ball duties for Nottinghamshire and short-format appearances for the Trent Rockets in The Hundred.
As a top-order batsman selected in all formats, Duckett occupies one of the most demanding positions in the England set-up, where he is required to face the new ball and set the tempo of an innings. His selection across Tests, ODIs and T20Is reflects his versatility as a multi-format player.
