Sandeep has appeared for Hyderabad in the Ranji Trophy, India's premier first-class domestic competition, as well as in limited-overs tournaments such as the Vijay Hazare Trophy (List A) and the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (Twenty20). His progression through age-group cricket in Hyderabad preceded his selection for the senior state side.
