Arun Nehru (1944–2013) was an Indian politician. A member of the Nehru–Gandhi extended family, he was active in national politics during the 1980s, initially as a close associate of Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi within the Indian National Congress, and later as a member of opposition formations.

Arun Nehru belonged to the wider Nehru family, which has occupied a prominent place in Indian public life since the freedom movement. Before entering politics, he worked in the corporate sector in India.
Arun Nehru entered Parliament in the early 1980s and emerged as an influential figure in the Congress government led by Rajiv Gandhi after 1984. He was regarded as part of the inner circle of advisers around the Prime Minister during the initial years of that administration.
He subsequently parted ways with Rajiv Gandhi and aligned with the political camp that coalesced around V. P. Singh, becoming associated with the Janata Dal and the National Front, which formed the government at the Centre in 1989.
Arun Nehru remained active in public commentary on Indian politics in his later years. He died in 2013.
