Ariyalur railway station is a railway station located in the town of Ariyalur in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It serves as the principal railway halt for Ariyalur district and lies on the Tiruchirappalli–Chennai Egmore main line, one of the major rail corridors of southern Tamil Nadu.

The station is administered by the Southern Railway zone of Indian Railways and falls under its Tiruchirappalli railway division. It connects Ariyalur town with major destinations including Chennai, Tiruchirappalli, Thanjavur, Villupuram and other regional centres. The station is electrified, in line with the broader electrification of the Chennai Egmore–Tiruchirappalli corridor.
Ariyalur lies in the central part of Tamil Nadu and is known for its limestone deposits and cement industry. The railway station provides connectivity for cement factories, agricultural traffic and passenger movement in and around the district.
