Ankita Dhyani is an Indian middle- and long-distance runner who competes primarily in track events. She is among a generation of distance athletes from Uttarakhand who have come up through national-level junior and senior athletics competitions in India.

Dhyani hails from Uttarakhand, a state in the northern Himalayan region of India that has produced a number of distance runners who have benefited from training at altitude. She entered competitive athletics through the school and junior circuit before progressing to senior national events organised under the framework of the Athletics Federation of India (AFI).
Dhyani has competed in distance events on the Indian domestic circuit, taking part in national championships and federation cup meets. Her performances on the track have placed her within the pool of Indian distance runners considered for national camps and team selection in events organised by the AFI.
