Anil Mehta

Overview

Anil Mehta (born 26 September 1984) is an Indian politician affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He serves as the Deputy Advocate General (DAG) for the State of Haryana at the Punjab and Haryana High Court in Chandigarh, representing the State in legal matters before the Court.

In addition to his role as Deputy Advocate General, Mehta represents the Chief Minister of Haryana in a State Government initiative titled "CONNECT2CM". The programme is designed to facilitate a direct dialogue between the Chief Minister and the youth of Haryana, specifically those in the age group of 16 to 35 years.

The "CONNECT2CM" initiative is described as the first of its kind launched by a State Government in India. Its stated purpose is to gather first-hand information and views from young people regarding the functioning of the State Government and its avenues for improvement, with the underlying premise of engaging the youth as stakeholders in the State's development.
