Anantapur railway station (station code: ATP) is a railway station serving the city of Anantapur, the headquarters of Anantapur district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It lies on the Guntakal–Bengaluru section and is administered by the Guntakal railway division of South Central Railway.

The station is one of the principal stops on the broad-gauge railway corridor connecting Guntakal Junction with Bengaluru, a route that forms part of the trunk linkage between southern Andhra Pradesh, northern Karnataka and the wider Indian Railways network. It serves as the main railhead for Anantapur city and the surrounding Rayalaseema region.
Anantapur lies in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh and is connected by rail to major cities such as Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Tirupati, Hubballi and Mumbai through trains that pass through the Guntakal–Bengaluru route. The station is also linked by road via National Highway 44 (the Hyderabad–Bengaluru corridor), which passes near the city.
