Amy Ellen Jones is an English cricketer who plays as a wicket-keeper and right-handed batter. She represents England in international cricket and turns out for The Blaze, Birmingham Phoenix and Perth Scorchers in domestic and franchise competitions.
Jones made her debut for England in 2013 and is a holder of a central contract with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). She is regarded as one of the senior wicket-keeping options in the England women's setup.
On 8 September 2022, England's captain Nat Sciver announced that she had decided to withdraw from the home white-ball series against India to focus on her mental health and well-being. In her absence, Jones was named as England's captain for the Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) and Women's One Day International (WODI) series against India.
