Aladi Aruna (1933–2004) was an Indian politician and lawyer from Tamil Nadu. A senior leader of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), he served as a Member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly and held cabinet portfolios in successive AIADMK governments. He was widely known for his oratory in Tamil and his role as a legal voice within the party.

Aladi Aruna hailed from the southern districts of Tamil Nadu. Trained in law, he practised at the bar before moving into active politics, and his legal background informed much of his later legislative work. He was associated with the Dravidian movement and became a long-standing functionary of the AIADMK after the party was founded by M. G. Ramachandran in 1972.
Aladi Aruna was elected to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly on multiple occasions as an AIADMK candidate. Within the party, he was regarded as part of the senior leadership tier that worked closely with the chief ministerial leadership of M. G. Ramachandran and, later, J. Jayalalithaa.
During AIADMK governments in Tamil Nadu, he was inducted into the state cabinet and held ministerial responsibilities, including portfolios connected with law and related subjects. He was also a frequent spokesperson for the party on legal and constitutional questions arising in the Assembly.
Within Tamil Nadu politics, Aladi Aruna was recognised as a bridge between the legal profession and Dravidian party politics. His tenure as a minister contributed to the AIADMK's legislative work during the 1980s and 1990s, and he remained a public figure in the party until his death in 2004.
