Adikavi Nannaya University (IAST: Ādikavi Nannaya Viśvavidyālayamu) is a state university located in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India. Established in 2006, it is named after Nannayya, the first attested author of a text composed in the Telugu language. The university serves the educational needs of the two Godavari districts and functions as the affiliating university for several postgraduate institutes and undergraduate colleges in the region.

The university was set up to cater to higher education in the East and West Godavari districts of Andhra Pradesh. Prior to its formation, colleges in these districts were affiliated with Andhra University, based at Visakhapatnam. With the creation of Adikavi Nannaya University, affiliation of these institutions was transferred to the new university.
All seventy-four postgraduate institutes, along with the undergraduate colleges located in the two Godavari districts, hold their government-mandated affiliation with Adikavi Nannaya University.

In addition to the main campus at Rajahmundry, the university operates extension campuses at Kakinada and Tadepalligudem.
Among its notable academic offerings, the university initiated a programme in Geo-Informatics and Petroleum Exploration, which it has described as the first such programme in Andhra Pradesh. Its integrated programme in Mathematics and Computing was designed with the objective of providing trained graduates for the IT sector, reflecting the broader state policy of promoting five-year integrated courses.
As the regional affiliating university for the Godavari districts, Adikavi Nannaya University plays a central role in the administration of higher education in this part of coastal Andhra Pradesh. Its naming after Nannayya, often regarded as the Adikavi ("first poet") of Telugu literature, reflects the cultural and literary heritage of the region.
