Abhilashi University is a state private university located in the Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It was established under a Himachal Pradesh state legislative enactment as a self-financed private university, and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India.

The university is part of the Abhilashi Group of Institutions, which has run educational institutions in Himachal Pradesh prior to the establishment of the university. It was created in line with the Himachal Pradesh government's policy of permitting private universities to operate within the state, expanding access to higher education in the western Himalayan region.
