Aadar Jain belongs to the Kapoor family, one of the most prominent dynasties in Indian cinema. He is the grandson of Raj Kapoor, the legendary actor-filmmaker, through his mother Reema Jain (née Kapoor). His maternal uncles include actors Randhir Kapoor, Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. He is a cousin of actors Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor and Armaan Jain.
Aadar Jain made his acting debut in Qaidi Band (2017), a Hindi musical drama directed by Habib Faisal and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film cast him opposite debutante Anya Singh and centred on a group of undertrials who form a band while in prison.
He subsequently appeared in Hello Charlie (2021), a Hindi comedy released on a streaming platform, produced under the Excel Entertainment banner. The film featured an ensemble cast and saw Jain in a leading role.
